Kelly Michelle Thomas…

is a poet and visual artist born and raised in Silver Spring MD. She wrote her debut poetry collection in 2015 as a challenge to herself to write everyday for 125 days during a period of her spiritual awakening. She wouldn’t self publish that collection until 2021 & 2022. Kelly is the owner of MICHESHART, a home based art studio, established in 2014. Her poetry has been featured in the Maryland Bards Poetry Review, years 2023 & 2024 and she was a featured reader at the Hot L open mic located at Bird in Hand bookstore. Kelly currently resides in DC continuing to paint and write.
